Tests

RAMP® TROPONIN I

The RAMP® Troponin I test is a fast, accurate and quantitative immunochromatographic test for the determination of cardiac troponin I (TnI) levels in human EDTA whole blood. Measurement of cardiac troponin I aids in the rapid diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI).

RAMP® NT-proBNP

The RAMP® NT-proBNP test is a fast, accurate and quantitative immunochromatographic test for the determination of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) levels in human EDTA whole blood. The RAMP® NT-proBNP test is used in the clinical laboratory and at the point of care, where measurement of NT-proBNP aids in the diagnosis and assessment of severity in individuals suspected of having heart failure and may aid in the risk stratification of patients with heart failure.

RAMP® MYOGLOBIN

The RAMP® Myoglobin test is a fast, accurate and quantitative immunochromatographic test for the determination of Myoglobin levels in human EDTA whole blood. Measurement of Myoglobin aids in the rapid diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI).

RAMP® CK-MB

The RAMP® CK-MB test is a fast, accurate and quantitative immunochromatographic test for the determination of CK-MB levels in human EDTA whole blood. Measurement of CK-MB aids in the rapid diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI).

RAMP® D-DIMER

The RAMP® D-dimer test is a fast, precise and accurate immunochromatographic test for quantification of the fibrin degradation product, D-dimer, in human EDTA whole blood.

RAMP® FLU A + B

The RAMP® Flu A + B test is a qualitative immunochromatographic test used for the detection of influenza A and B nucleoprotein antigens in nasal wash/aspirate, nasopharyngeal aspirate and nasopharyngeal swab specimens from symptomatic patients. It is an in vitro diagnostic test that aids in the rapid differential diagnosis of influenza viral infections in symptomatic patients.

RAMP® RSV

The RAMP® RSV test is a qualitative, immunochromatographic test used for the detection of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) F-protein antigens in nasal wash, nasopharyngeal aspirate and nasopharyngeal swab samples. It is an in vitro diagnostic test that aids in the rapid diagnosis of RSV infections in symptomatic patients 21 years of age and younger.

Anthrax

RAMP® ANTHRAX

The RAMP® Anthrax test is used to screen for the presence of Bacillus anthracis (BA) spores in environmental samples. Suspect environmental samples may include liquids or powders. A positive test result indicates the presence of BA at or above the detectable concentration of 4 ng (4000 spores). The RAMP® Platform is the first, rapid handheld anthrax detection system to meet the performance standards introduced by AOAC INTERNATIONAL.

RAMP® BOT TOX

The RAMP® Bot Tox test is used to screen for the presence of botulinum toxin (Bot Tox), the causative agent of botulism, in environmental samples. Suspect environmental samples may include liquids or powders. A positive test result indicates the presence of Bot Tox at or above the detectable concentration of 14 ng botulinum neurotoxin Type A light chain.

RAMP® POX

The RAMP® Pox test is used to screen for the presence of variola virus, the causative agent of smallpox (Pox). The test also recognizes monkey pox and cow pox, the only other orthopox viruses in addition to variola and vaccinia, known to cause human infection. Suspect environmental samples may include liquids or powders. A positive test result indicates the presence of variola virus at or above the detectable concentration of 100,000 plaque-forming units (pfu) or more pox viruses (equivalent to 50,000 pfu delivered to the test cartridge).

RAMP® RICIN

The RAMP® Ricin test is used to screen for the presence of ricin toxin, the causative agent of ricin poisoning. Suspect environmental samples may include liquids or powders. A positive test result indicates the presence of ricin toxin at or above the detectable concentration of 10 ng ricin toxin (equivalent to 5 ng delivered to the test cartridge).

RAMP® BIODEFENSE TRAINING TEST

The RAMP® Biodefense Training Test is used to train individuals responsible for the screening of potential disease agents in environmental samples. The test results will determine if the trainee has used acceptable operator technique and ensures correct use of the RAMP® Platform. The test contains non-hazardous training powder to mimic a potential biohazard and is intended to prepare the user for real suspect powder sampling in the field.

RESPONSE ENVIRONMENTAL

RAMP® WNV

The RAMP® WNV test is used to screen for the presence of WNV, the causative agent of West Nile Viral Encephalitis. Samples are obtained from homogenized mosquitoes or via a swab sample from a deceased corvid. The RAMP® WNV test consists of a single-use, disposable test cartridge to be used with either the portable RAMP® Reader or the multi-port RAMP® 200. Both readers provide rapid, easy-to-interpret, quantitative results.

RAMP® Dengue

The RAMP® Dengue test detects antigen of all four Dengue virus serotypes (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4) in mosquito homogenate. The RAMP® Dengue test consists of a single-use, disposable test cartridge to be used with either the portable RAMP® Reader or the multi-port RAMP® 200. Both readers provide rapid, easy-to-interpret, quantitative results.
